CodeSpark Academy is an app developed for children ages 5-9. It teaches the basics of computer programming through a variety of interative learning activities including puzzels, games, step by step creative projects, game designs, and offline printables. Public schools, libraries and non-profits are able to download it for free and use it on all tablets, mobile devices and computers. Students will be able to learn the ABCs of computer science with the word-free interface making learning to code acccessible to pre-readers and non-English speakers. When you sign-up with their Teacher Dashboard, along with the curriculum and unplugged activities, you have the ability to manage and control access for students.
IMPORTANT: All students affected by COVID-19, can access codeSpark Academy FREE from home with their student profiles. If your school district has been naffected by a closure for preventative health-related reasons, educations can complete this form and receive insturctions on how to redeem free Professional Development and share classroom codes wit htheir students. Students will have access to thier courses until May 31st.
