Preservice programs in Md. that incorporate CS

Computer Science is foundational knowledge for any area of study. The state of Maryland has standards for Computer Science across. K-12 and all 24 school systems in Maryland have a designated supervisor in charge of Computer Science as well as a vision and plans to work toward implementation of the standards. The state of Maryland requires that every high school offer computer science, every middle school student learns computational thinking, and every local school system demonstrates that they are working toward equity of access for underrepresented groups.
